Making the most of a day off school or a weekend by preparing for your Grade 5 theory exam.
 

9 Hour Course


Recommended for students who are working on theory from scratch.
This can be taken in 3x 3 hour sessions with breaks between each session.

Recommended for students who are up to around Grade 3.
This can be done in 2x 3 hour sessions with breaks between the sessions.

Follow up

All courses include detailed follow up notes outlining what has been covered with tips and screen shots from the course.

Most of the support material you need will be included.
 

Course recordings

I’ll supply video recordings from your course, so you can easily find an area you wish to revise.
 

After course support

Support will be provided in the form of feedback and I’ll answer your questions by email, until you take the exam.
 
 

We recommend

To obtain an exam Pass

Aim to score around 56 points in 2x past exam papers (provided).
 

To obtain an exam Merit

Aim to score around 60 points in 2x past exam papers (provided).
 

To obtain an exam Distinction

Aim to score around 68 points in 2x past exam papers (provided).
 
We advise arranging the Intensive Grade 5 Theory Lessons close together. Revise for a day or two after your course then try a past paper. Tracy will mark 3x past papers after the course. When you have a few papers you are happy with, try the sample exam on the ABRSM website then sit the exam as soon as possible.
 
Remember, the longer you leave taking the exam the more you will forget, everyone does!
